Washed Out - Eyes Be Closed
This is the band that I told Allison and Aliyah to go see while in London. I am not sure if they were able to or not because of the riots there. Also, Allison doesn't like to text me back and I'm pissed at her.

Warpaint - Elephants
I've been on a huge female vocals kick lately, and here's something I really love. Warpaint played in Houston on New Years Eve 2011, I had never heard of them then. I hate it when I discover a band after they've already played a show in town.

Top 10 Albums of 2010
Ok, I'm a little late doing this. Wanted to get this done about a week ago, but some things came up and I just got busy. Going to just put the album art up first, and then I will add in the download links. Without further ado, here are my top 10 music albums from 2010.
Number 10: Das Racist - Sit Down Man (mixtape)- quirky, stoner, almost joke hip hop from NYC

Number 9: Mux Mool - Skull Taste- I listened to some really great electronic albums this year, but unfortunately they all came out in 2009, this was one of my favorites that actually came out this year.

Number 8: Bun B - Trill OG - H-town reprezent, Bun B pretty much destroys on this album.

Number 7: Odd Future - Radical (mixtape) - Crazy hip hop dudes from Cali. These guys are gonna be big real soon.

Number 6: Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - 9 minute long songs, Kanye West takes hip hop/rap/R&B to the highest levels of pretentious-ism ever seen before.

Number 5: Vampire Weekend - Contra - Pop, punk, almost ska like rock tunes. Quick and precise jams throughout the entire album.

Number 4: The Roots - How I Got Over - Full band hip-hop, The Roots keep turning out albums and this might be their best yet.

Number 3: Curren$y - Pilot Talk - Surprisingly really sick beats with some really slick flow from this up and coming hip hop star.

Number 2: The Black Keys - Brothers - Duo from Ohio produces rock/blues hit after hit on this album.

Number 1: LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening - I don't even listen to music like this anymore(indie dancepunk), so you know that this album is good because I haven't taken it out of my cd player in my car in 2 weeks now. Some seriously great songs on here.
